Introduction
Cell (कोशिका) जीवन की सबसे छोटी और मूलभूत इकाई है। सभी जीवित प्राणी, चाहे वे एककोशिकीय (unicellular) हों या बहुकोशिकीय (multicellular), कोशिकाओं से ही बने होते हैं। Histology में सेल का अध्ययन बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि यही हमारे शरीर की संरचना और कार्य (structure & function) की आधारशिला है।

📌 Types of Cells

1. Prokaryotic Cell – इनमें nucleus नहीं होता और genetic material freely cytoplasm में पाया जाता है। (जैसे – bacteria)


2. Eukaryotic Cell – इनमें well-defined nucleus और membrane bound organelles होते हैं। (जैसे – human cells)

🧬 Structure of Eukaryotic Cell

1. Cell Membrane – यह phospholipid bilayer होती है, जो cell को सुरक्षा और selective permeability प्रदान करती है।


2. Cytoplasm – यह gel-like fluid होता है जिसमें सभी organelles तैरते रहते हैं।


3. Nucleus – cell का control center है, जिसमें DNA होता है।


4. Mitochondria – cell का “powerhouse” है, energy (ATP) बनाता है।


5. Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER)

Rough ER – protein synthesis के लिए।

Smooth ER – lipid synthesis और detoxification के लिए।



6. Golgi Apparatus – protein और lipid को modify एवं transport करता है।


7. Lysosome – “suicidal bag” कहलाता है, क्योंकि यह unwanted material को digest करता है।


8. Ribosome – protein synthesis की factory।


9. Cytoskeleton – cell की shape और movement को maintain करता है।
